When all pieces fit together like Voltron, the tactical shovel did its job. A part, each piece was precision on precision. The folding & locking mechanism of the shovel portion felt strong and did not budge on impact/use. Its multi use edges leaves me to ponder countless ways to utilize it while camping or landscaping in the backyard. The interior blade is a good length at over 4.5" and provides an additional multipurpose tool in the bag. "

When assembled, it's very sturdy and very strong.It would not be a multi tool, if it didn’t have a bunch of extras built into it and this thing has plenty. The handle stores a compass and a flint stick. There is also a small blade with multiple edges and function. The spade itself has the ability to chop, saw, loosen some bolts, but more importantly, it’s a sturdy piece of metal. Overall, this is a well thought-out, well-made tool at a great price point.As a minor caution, the color appears dark in the product pictures, but is actually more of a platinum/gun-metal color. "
